Hi everyone -

What would you all recommend as the first low wing .40 nitro airplane ?  I guess things like ability to land at slow speeds and handle a generous amount of wind are key characteristics we are looking for.

Among the ones currently available locally here in Qatar, the choices seem to be World Models Super Sport 40, Kyosho Calmato and Seagull SpaceWalker II.

My favorite was T34 so far , but other in the category are more or less same , I started with T34 , working on cubJ3 as test bench for  some electronics trials as this one has good lift capability, most beginners will not be able to feel the difference that much. I have tried point landing with T34 in wind and was very controllable( nearest that I can do compared to heli). Advanced models like edge or extra will drop wings in very low speed. My 2 penny worth:)
