RC Boats in Qatar
«

Well being the first to post in this section of the site, i have a bit of a generalised question!
Are there any people around that are into RC boats? Im from Australia and into both boats and cars. Particularly electric.
I guess my main question is in regards to the supply of materials. Does anyone know what the supply of materials is like for builders, eg:
CA's - fast drying etc
Epoxies
Plywood - 3/32", etc
Balsa all shapes common to model plane building
Primers - auto primers for priming before paint
Paints - auto paints for finishing!
If anyone has tried to purchase these types of products before and feels like having a chat, please let me know!
Kind regards
Brent

Pretty sure almost all of the list below is available locally. Even if they are out of stock on some, it is quite easy to import small quantities of anything, by ordering online.

Hi Brent,
Like Anwar said , the said materials are available in most of the hobby shops if not all.
Car Primers are available with most of automotive stores in doha. Balsa stock(better stock is available here but bit pricey when I last checked) is also in
Jareer book Store next to Modern Home near Ramada signal/junction. I am a aeromodeller only so far but I have seen RC boats around but haven't seen it sailing around.
