Dear friends,
I am in a newbie in this forum and a beginner in the art of flying helicopters.  I live India but I have friends in Doha, Qatar. I am particularly interested in this forum, because I can arrange for making purchases there with your guidance.

I bought a  starter model helicopter here but it keeps spinning around ( believe this is called yaw). The trim control setting is not permanent and needs to be adjusted frequently. My interest is more in precision flying than in aerobatic manoeuvres. People suggested that I look for a gyro stabilised model. I short-listed the FalconX from Aerosmith, The swift 6020-1 from Hiroba and another model called LF-555. I prefer electric models and mine  is a shoestring budget of USD 20 to 30. As I mentioned, I am a beginner and I need your help.

Also, it is possible to purchase them on-line but delivery at my address in India is tricky. So I thought I could ask my friends to buy it from Qatar.

So please,
1.Recommend a suitable model to be bought at a store there
2.Give directions to the store and explain to me how to make a reasonably good purchase.

Thank you for taking time out to read my post and help me out.

PS. I searched and read the archives in this forum but even the newcomers here have had prior experience.

Unfortunately, you will not get anything of significance here for that budget, that is not available for a similar budget from any good mall in India.  The best one I saw for that budget was at the Lulu Hypermarket (I guess it is in other shops too, only it was actively being demonstrated at Lulu), is something similar to this one available in India :

Thank you Anwar for a very prompt reply (You might be just the saviour I am looking for !!) Do you run the RC India forum too?
Do you remember the model or brand of the one you saw at LULU? Meanwhile I will pursue the ModelArt piece here that you recommended.

Yes, I run the rcindia.org forum too Smiley

I don't remember the model details Sad  Will see if it is still there.

To be honest, it is not worth the trouble getting similar models from here.  If you buy it from a proper RC store in India, they would be able to help with spares etc (which is an absolute impossibility here in Qatar).

I am sure you will get many more recommendations on this particular request on the rcindia.org forum, as more people are budget constrained there.
