Something new for heli.  There is an auto pilot 'gyro' system that hoovers very easily for beginners with automatic compensation.  I have tried it and it's fantastic.  It's also very pricey.  Go to ---> http://www.helicommand.com/technology_en.html

for more info.

This is a good thing for the absolute beginner.

But the reality is also that the moment one learns to hover a heli, this device becomes an expensive piece of useless equipment (which of course one can try to sell to another newbie  Grin

Hmm, Roll Eyes Interesting , but the link is down I guess , would not open. any other links to same stuff . Like Anwar said , the fun in heli starts with ability/learn to hover , so auto pilot i guess steals the show but if this thing could be remotely switched on then i think may be used as crash recovery  like used in SR22 SBS.

Here is a direct link to HeliCommand.

One of our local flyers (Dileepa) was trying out this AP-2000i from Spartan RC a few months back.  Sounded like there were some issues.
